I?ve been getting a lot of complaints from folks recently telling me that they don't know anyone or anyway to get leads that won't cost an arm and a leg. Pardon me, but that is just not true.
Chances are, you know several folks who can help you get leads right this minute. Let's see if I can run down a quick list for you:

? Realtors

? Process Servers

? Loan officers

? Credit Counseling Services

? Laundromats

Those are 5 people right off the bat who you can contact to get leads from. Some are a little unconventional, to be sure. But they are cheap, easy, and not hard to find.

These folks are here to provide you information. The loan officer might not be able to get someone who is behind on payments a loan. That's a good lead. The Realtor may have someone who's house just isn't selling and they are moving to Seattle from Atlanta in 2 weeks. That's a good lead. The process servers actually deliver the paperwork for evictions and foreclosures. They have TONS of great leads. Who goes to credit counseling services??? People in debt who need help. Good leads.

So no more talk about not being able to find folks right off the bat to help you. You can network with plenty. And who knows, maybe a trip to your local REIA group or Chamber of Commerce will produce a few leads as well! Start looking around you to find people you already know who may be able to provide leads for you. And remember the law of equal returns. Someday you may be able to help them as well!
